Thank you to everyone who shared feedback through the Parent & Caregiver Education Survey. Based on the interest expressed, our next Parent & Caregiver Education Workshop will focus on Friendship Skills.
In this virtual workshop, we’ll explore the key social skills children need to build strong, lasting friendships. Topics will include differences in social development among boys and girls, strategies for teaching conflict resolution, and ways parents and caregivers can support children in navigating peer relationships with confidence and empathy.
This workshop is FREE for Madera families and will be geared toward families with children in TK/K through 3rd grade. If there is sufficient interest, we will also offer a separate workshop for 4th through 6th grade families at a later date.
