The Madera Spelling Bee is a thrilling academic tradition where 4th-6th grade students put their spelling skills to the test after winning their classroom competitions. This exciting event not only celebrates hard work and perseverance but also gives students the chance to advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. In past years, Madera winners have made it all the way to Regional competitions. Who will be next?

How You Can Help
We need at least three parent volunteers to serve as judges and assist with event setup. No prior experience is required—training is provided! We also need a volunteer to help with microphones, speakers, and live streaming the event into classrooms.
