The Madera Spelling Bee is a thrilling academic tradition where 3rd-6th grade students put their spelling skills to the test after winning their classroom competitions. 2025 Spelling Bee
On Friday, November 21, retired Madera teacher, Mr. Danysh, will join us once again as word caller.
The Bee begins at approximately 9:00 a.m., and can continue into the afternoon. If you've experienced the Madera Spelling Bee before, you know what a compelling experience it is. If not, here's how to watch. The Bee will be streamed via Google meet here. Twenty-seven spellers representing all classes in grades 3-6 will be participating. Due to the length of the Spelling Bee and space limitations, we will not be able to accommodate an in person audience.

How You Can Help

We need at least three parent volunteers to serve as judges and assist with event setup. No prior experience is required—training is provided! We also need a volunteer to help with microphones, speakers, and live streaming the event into classrooms.
